Fly to Paro and upon arrival meet, assistant drive to Thimpu.

Thimpu:
Full day local sightseeing tour.
AM: Visit the Memorial Shorten of the Late King Jigme Dorjee
Wangchuk in the heart of Thimpu Town/ the Tashichhodzong,
"The fortress of the auspicious Religion."
PM: Stroll down town to the Handicraft Development Corporation,
which displays all kinds of traditional handicraft products
of Bhutan. O/nt. hotel. |

Thimpu
- Paro (65Kms./2 hrs.)
AM: After breakfast drive leisurely to Paro.
PM: Drive through the Paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/Kyichu
Lhakhang. On a clear day one can see the white doomed majestic
Jhomolhari Mountain or better known as the Mountain of Goddess
(7314 m) Also visit the National Museum located in the Ta
Dzong which displays a rich collection of fine arts and weapons.

Paro:
Excursion to Taktsang Lhakang.
AM: After breakfast drive Sartham Chorten and then two hours
of horse riding uphill will take you to the Taktsang cafeteria,
after refreshment a short trek to the viewpoint to witness
fascinating eyelevel view of the famous Taktsang Lhakang also
known as the tigers nest.
PM: After Lunch a slow downhill trek to Sartham Chorten
and then drive to hotel. O/nt. hotel. |
